“Solving the world’s problems with good abstractions: How’s that going?”

Dr. Mark Moir, Architect

Abstract

In my Multicore World 2015 talk, I asked: Can the world’s problems be solved using good abstractions?  How about without?

In this talk, I will revisit this question, touching on topics including blockchain technology, smart contracts, privacy/confidentiality, governance, accountability and regulation.
