A Code of Legacy – Beyond Ourselves

Abstract

In ‘A Code of Legacy’, we explore the intersection of Societal Philosophy and Cultural Knowledge within the realm of Multicore World’s key theme. This presentation delves into how traditional wisdom and contemporary digital innovations can coalesce to shape a future where technology not only advances human capability but also honours and preserves cultural heritage. By weaving together threads of Māori, omni-cultural principles, and digital technologies, such as AI, sustainability, quantum computing, and cybersecurity, we propose a unique framework for technological development and consideration that is deeply rooted in cultural values centred, around our possible future, our legacy. This talk aims to redefine the narrative of technological progress, emphasising inclusivity, ethical considerations, and a holistic approach to digital and societal advancement.
