“AI and Cloud: HPC’s Friend or Foe?“
Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cloud computing are poised to transform scientific discovery and engineering innovation. However, this potent combination also has the potential to disrupt the HPC landscape.
Will AI and Cloud ultimately propel HPC to new heights, or will they reshape the industry, displacing traditional HPC solutions?
In this talk, we will examine how the race to Exascale changed the trajectory of both AI and Cloud in perhaps unexpected ways, setting off a series of events that are now making the future of HPC both exciting and uncertain.
